Ok, I know I may get "blasted" (but in a good way here) but I say if Bloomberg cab "buy the election" as the other Dems and others are accusing him of trying to do - which I do not think he is doing, I say let him buy it. Who would you rather have: Trump or Bloomberg??
Think about it. Biden and Bloomberg are my first picks to beat Trump, Amy may have a 1-2 % chance and sorry Bernie and Elizabeth lovers....I don't think either can beat Trump...Stayer and the rest like Mayor Pete I also do not think can beat Trump. And yes, I am aware of the "skeletons in Bloomberg's closet" but look-they all have skeletons and you can bet Trump and his CLAN OF CULT FOLLOWERS-AKA HITLER WORSHIERS- will manage to either dig up and magnify dirt from their past mistakes and/or make some up.
Thoughts? Links? I know, it's not the popular view....but you know how I am by now.
ELECTIBAILITY or we go down and lose our democracy.

I have taken a closer look at Bloomberg, although I have liked Sanders since he was robbed of the nomination in 2016, I think that the pick will be between both of these two men. They both scare trump, I also think Bloomberg is the best one to go up against trump. He has the money and is not afraid to use it. Unlike trump who hordes most of the money he steals thru fraudulent bank loans. Especially like what he did to the bank inGermany, he won’t release his tax records to public view. What is he afraid will come out oh that he defrauded many banks, the taxpayers. I really don’t understand why a man who has to file bankrupt more than once has any right to run this country. He is going to beat fault when the recession starts. I really think the economy is no where near as strong as he would like the American people to believe. He doesn’t care that the average citizen is the group he is trying to destroy. The wealthy need to take note, eventually the bubble will burst and they will not be able to bilk the average American. Taking money from the Defense department to build the stupid wall is not correct. There is no national emergency, that is just a loophole that personally I think he made up. He is so pro military but lied to the military and the public that we have the best military and best equipped. What a pipe dream, my husband has lung problems because the military didn’t have the money to buy rebreathers to filter out the asbestos that he breathed in while he worked on the paint and tile team while the ship was in dry dock. Hi lungs are filled with asbestos, he needs three inhalers that alone cost us over 200.00 a month, that is one of are smaller pharmacy bills, but let’s just let the big pharmaceutical company’s continue to squeeze money out of citizens.

Thanks MaekmBha…..I always blame typos on the computer. I have been shown ways to fix them but it just seems easier to post the mistake..

Renee, I feel the same way...about Trump and what he's done, of course. And I can certainly related to what you are saying about your husband's inhalers...I use inhalers also and my prescription bills are starting to really poke a hole through whatever money we have left. I am terrified honestly, yet trying still to remain optimistic because I am on infusions for which if I did not have them I would not be alive. I'm sorry I can not relate to your feelings about Sanders. If he gets the nomination of course I'll vote for him....and if he beats Trump I am willing to "eat my words..." I just don't see it, but that's ok...everyone here probably has a different preference for who they think is the best candidate - but again to me it's the electability factor this election which we have to focus on. I still like Biden, stumbles and all....but Bloomberg to me is I agree definitely worth a second look...primarily because I do think Trump fears him as much as Biden....in my mind not Sanders but again I could be wrong...and secondly because, as you mention...Bloomberg more then I think even Steyer...of all of the candidates has the most money and he's "street smart" and can I believe give Trump a run for his money. He is "almost" qualified for this Wednesday's debate stage....and I hope he does cause I'd like to hear him speak. Again, accuse him (others not you) of trying to buy this election. Go ahead. Then think, who would you rather have running the USA? A billionaire who used his money to win but will do good for us or a Hitler
orange wannabe who is destroying rules, democracy and decency bit by bit.

Trump is pushing so much fake dirt on Bloomberg and Biden I will be watching the debates. I think you may be right these are the two men he fears the most. Especially since he just pardoned his friends and moved to wipe out there penalty fines. I guess we know where he expects to get campaign funds from if not there’s have all ready given, another Quid Pro Quo. I honestly think that they bought there freedom. My solace is he won’t be president long and then all his lawsuits will be dealt with by honest people.

Who is the dim bulb who is standing by there false claim that China tried to make a warfare bug and it accidentally escaped. I strongly think China is a corrupt country, but to real ease a bug that is making people sick and sadly dying. But every country in the world is hurting due to the economic toll it is taking on the world. Apple don’t really care if he looses money he is in trumps pocket. Senator Cotton is by far the dumbest man next to trump I have heard in the last to days. Well at least he is following in dumb bells line of thought American people are so dumb they will believe him, not.trump is the biggest liar in our country, I really don’t think he can tell the truth.

I had not heard about the warfare bug but I believe that these conspiracy theories are floating around. Trump thinks that the overseas virus - which may spread to the US through US people who travel there and are on cruise ships - will "go away once the weather gets warm," Give me a break....a break would be a Democrat in the White House as President and Trump and his many "accomplices" in jail.

Flyover

Ritaruby, hello there I am Flyover. In my retirement I live where no politician cares to come here. I hear your reasoning to support Biden or Bloomberg, but it’s looking like Biden is not going to survive all the damage Trump has done to him by the Ukraine dirt and I believe he is not as sharp as he once was. I refer to watching him as watching water drip. As for Bloomberg I am appalled he can believe he can walk in to our Democratic race and just spend money and saturate the air waves. All voters are not as engaged as we may be and tv is their form of news.

l am a Warren Sanders fan. Being 70 I have experienced many Presidents. After Trump I am thinking the Republican Presidents were not so bad. Of course, Trump is a Criminal Con and there is nothing presidential about him. The reason I support Sanders or Warren is I believe we need someone who will fight for the common citizen. How in the hell a family survives now days is beyond me. The cost of basic needs and education is unattainable for most youth. Suicide and drug use are off the charts. I believe it is because our youth have no hope. This has to change and it needs to change now. Old politics will not do it, and the faster our representatives start to implement progressive change the better. Maybe Sanders and Warren as president won’t get a lot accomplished but it will start the attitude of Progressive socialism in to politics. Sanders has been singing the same tune of democratic socialism for 30 years. Warren since the 80s. Compare to Biden who his first donor function said to the Rich participants,” Not much will change.” That statement made me think of good old Biden who never made waves and just went with the flow. Compare to Bloomberg who forced his beliefs on New Yorkers even when it was unpopular and not in their best interest. Bloomberg is a Plutocrat who is over estimating his importance in this race. If he wants to make a contribution then he should buy Fox News from the Murdoch’s and re-educate the Trump cult.
This race has just began and the only known factor is Trump Will Cheat. One our side is Trumps cult makes up 27% of all US voters. Together with democrats, Independents and many Republicans we can take back America from the criminal element that is ripping our country apart. That includes the younger generation who are ecstatic about Sanders and we need every vote we can get, this country will soon be theirs. For that reason I will support Sanders and Warren in hope that our politics will change to Progressive Democratic Socialism. Without it old Crony Capitalism will continue and our young will have no hope for a better tomorrow.

Hello there, Flyover and thanks for both the introduction and a "snapshot" of your own background. I truly respect that. We do differ in our candidate preferences though. I have absolutely no doubt that both Sanders and Warren are 100% for the people. And I am impressed that they are drawing young people in. But, call me behind the times but I am middle aged and suffice it to say I have also seen a lot in my years. I just don't think Sanders or Warren can beat Trump. I just don't. I'm perfectly willing to be proven wrong though and of course if one of them wins the nomination I would vote for them. I also feel a bit nostalgic about the Republican Presidents we had in the past. I guess we never realized how good we had it with prior Presidents...even Nixon was better than Trump (of course no social media than and being better than Trump is not a high bar...too bad it is the bar we need to look at now).  Of course Trump will cheat. Their side, that is the current serving Republicans whom I don't know how they sleep at night after not removing Trump, his administration and his crooked mob boss friends - and surely Putin if not more dictators-will do everything they can to stomp out
our democracy. But we must not let them. We took back the House in 2018 and we can win again. I am doing what I can and hope everyone is for getting people to vote and backing the candidate of their choice and eventually backing the Democratic nominee. I do understand about Democratic Socialism but long for the days past-Biden represents that to me....and I guess I am more moderate. Should be an interesting debate tonight. I'd be interested in yours-and everyone's thoughts on it.

I watched the debates with a keen interest to see how Bloomberg would do, frankly I was very disappointed. He should have done way better than he did. I am frankly very surprised he did as poorly as he did. I still think the  nominees to go to the Democratic convection will be Sanders and Bloomberg. I really think these are the two it will come down to. The orange man really doesn’t want to run against either one of them. One has the backing of the American youth the other more more money and will spend it. While I will vote for either one, I was surprised at how poorly Bloomberg did in light of the fact he is a politician. He seemed to not be with it on the facts. Both are in their 70’s but Sanders has all ready made a run for the Democratic nomination. I fill strongly feel he should have been chosen over Clinton. But I still voted for Clinton. Please we really need to get out to vote if you know someone who isn’t voting because the have no transportation please offer them a ride as long as they are Democrats. I worry very much about our election being tampered with yet again. As I have said before I live in a red state that is corrupt. Believe it or not we have a governor that had a mortgage company that was banned from doing business in a few states, and now he is crying because he wants more money from the gambling industry that the Indians run, well this state made a deal and he wants to change it. He has been told by our state attorney there is nothing he can do, he is now running adds to try and inflame the public. The Republican governor who signed the pact with the Indians made the deal. So now I know that he is just as corrupt as all the other republicans. Not to mention there could be a problem with the new state design seems to have been 100% copied from another in a neighboring state. Yet this person has spent a lot of money that should have gone to the state programs is going to the rebranding of my state. I now realize that all the republicans are corrupt. So please get out and vote Democrat.
