Good Sunday Morning RitaRuby....I saw your most recent post and it is a good thing I have my store-bought uppers and lowers firmly in place.  We have some residents here at Willow Manor that are die hard arch conservatives (some might call them reactionaries).  I know what you are experiencing where you have to be very careful on whom you vioce your opinions.  If you are comfortable having a friendly audience, that is great.  However, we all know who might be reactionaries and who may agree with us.  Above all, please be careful on what you say.  You could gather a lot of like-minded people who are very friendly.  On the other hand, you might inherit a bunch of Nazi sympathizers.

I personally are thrilled that so many people have signed the Trump impeachment petition.  I jnow that you and especially DeltaFlight feel the same way.  My own daughter just sits back and takes no action whatsoever.  Go figure.

So go out and enjoy the cold Upstate NY weather.

Good Afternoon all,

RitaRuby - My condolences on your puppy. I know, I have a 12-year old puppy who has severe hip-dysplasia and arthritis in all four legs. She is a big part of our family and I don't want to think about that time that will come all too soon. I do whatever I can to make her comfortable and keep her mobile. I've had to have a previous dog, many years ago, put to sleep because of cancer too. The hardest thing I've ever had to do. Something that kind of soothed me a little when I would think about it, is... that they know they are loved. Hope that will help you get through this time, even if it's just a little.

Felt pretty good to get that extra hour of sleep. Too bad the day goes so fast after that!

I've said it before, KGB Putin "YOU AIN'T HEARD NOTHING YET!" With any comments I make at thetrumpimpeachment site, I am including a message asking all to sign the petition and am giving the link. I'm going to try commenting on every new article that comes out. Hopefully they won't ban me for spamming, LOL.

Locke defines tyranny as "the exercise of power beyond right." A just leader is bound by the laws of the legislative and works for the people, whereas a tyrant breaks the laws and acts on his own behalf

Thanks Donna, droberts for your kind words. We are drained and upset but as you said our dog surely knew he was loved. Fortunately (this time!) we did not have to have him put down as we think something ruptured with his cancers we/the vet/specialist were working on, he was in brief pain crying out then he died naturally. Thanks for sharing about your dog..we had been doing that with this dog for awhile..trying different things and trying to keep him comfortable..we are adjusting to the time change...hopefully better to the KGB and Putin just got back home and turned on MSNBC...heard that it's been discovered that Wilbur Ross has direct ties to Putin and that Mueller has enough evidence to charge Mike Flynn and his all they have to do is get "the top guy" Trump Jerk...Keep those petition requests coming...I think I have signed them all but want to keep signing.

Hi Bob, yes I understand about being careful whom we talk to about the jerk as POTUS now...we are for sure in a highly charged and passionate political climate (read: angry on both sides I think) so it's "not like the good ol' days" when even if you disliked the POTUS people tried to "get behind" him...There are still many people-and most recently Dianne Feinstein whom I thought had more sense-and Susan Collins-who feel that because he is in fact POTUS he deserves respect for that reason alone...perhaps in the past...not so now in my opinion...and yes lots of people are doing nothing which I guess is their choice....are they waiting for him to start World War III or take away all health care, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security? I've read Facebook was actually helping the Russians..lost all respect for Zuckerberg with that.
