Tom Steyer @ Need to Impeach yes@needtoimpeach.

On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on a bill that would protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller. This would be the third proposal to protect Mueller, after the first two never made it to a vote despite bipartisan support.

However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has vowed that he will not bring this critical legislation to the Senate floor, putting his own partisan ambitions ahead of our nation’s security

In the last couple of weeks, the investigation has led to the raid of Trump’s longtime lawyer and fixer, and reports surfaced that Trump tried to fire Mueller (for the second time) in December. Passing this bill is necessary and requires the immediate attention of the Senate.

Thank you for taking action on this critical bill to hold Trump accountable.

Best,
Tom

Wow, Senate Judiciary Committee passed the Bill to protect Mueller today. It was passed by both Democrats and Republicans.

The big road block is getting McConnell the turtle to allow it to go to the Senate floor. He's said several times before that he wont because he doesn't think it's necessary.

Well many Americans don't trust Trump, or McConnell's judgement. It is necessary and maybe if he gets enough telephone calls telling him so and to allow it to go to the Senate floor, he'll grow a pair! Please consider calling him and pass his phone number along! Thank you!
