Trump gives an impromptu interview to a New York Times reporter at Mar-A-Largo (sp?), mentions 16 times there "there is/was no collusion with his campaign and Russia", changes topics so fast the Reporter can barely keep up, slurs words and says he is looking forward to "doing bipartisan" (so working with Dems) in 2018 while accusing them of working with the Russians and making up the Russia scandal as a way to discredit him and because they lost the campaign.

Somebody please keep us safe in 2018!

Do not count on Trump. IMO

I have worked in the medical field for 35 years, when a senior has scattered thoughts, repeats constantly and especially slurs their words, that could be indicative of the possibility of TIAs or little mini strokes.  He is under a lot of pressure and may no longer be able to handle it.  The person suffering from them, do not always realize that this is happening and is usually recognized by family or friends, that something is wrong.  While he does not have reliable friends or family to tell him, we must demand that he have an immediate physical by an objective doctor including a neurologist!!!  We must pursue this avenue and hopefully get him the help he needs while letting this country get freed from his grip.  After he got his tax break (which is all he really cared about), I also believe that he no longer cares what happens in our country and may be looking for an out.  My New Year thoughts are that he get his just desserts living his life out in prison.  We will have to all wait and see how it plays out.  Fingers crossed.....

Trump may be having mini strokes, or he may be going senile. His father died of Alzheimer's and to the best of my knowledge it is a hereditary disease.

What isn't inane rambling, like the 16 times "no collusion" mass repetition, is instead pure delusion and fantasy. The part of that interview that floored me was the claim that the media would "have to " re-elect him because various outlets would go under entirely without him in the spotlight.

My heavens, whatever did we do without Donald Trump to save us? Answer: We did one hell of a lot better than we're doing now.

The Obamas must be appalled. They're too well bred to say what they are unquestionably really feeling but they must routinely shake their heads in disbelief.

To avoid Trump is the best approach to the issue

Yes Delta Flight...to avoid yet to continue the resistance. I am reminded of something a friend said to me which is up on my mirror to see daily: Once you allow someone to get control over your emotions they have control over you-don't know the author. Yes we need to dismiss Trump's "stuff" (of which he has a lot-of issues, mental illnesses, etc.) yet be aware and again..continue to resist...and now allow him to ever make us unhappy or especially to divide us.

Agreed completely ursulafaw. The POTUS is a sick man - beyond sick mentally and probably physically (those $36 rare meat DC hamburgers and expensive junk food can get to you after awhile). At the same time I do not feel sorry for him....agreed...not sure how the country survived without him[rolleyes]! The Obamas, both Bush's and wives, even Reagan and Nixon....none could ever compare to this dangerous creep. My greatest fear is that he gets in for another 4 years or worse 8 because he has PUTIN and the crooked RNC behind him...Thank heaven the rest of us know what the real truths are...hope the Dems take back the house and the Senate and that we aren't even worse off before that election! He - and Putin - belong behind bars with serious Psychiatric help.

I do not count on Trump to keep us safe from literally anything Delta flight. I do not - nor do I think any of us - live in "fantasy land-way beyond la la land." Would be hilarious if not so serious/in the position he is in. Unfortunately for him in order to obtain help you need to realize-as was said here many times - that you/he has a problem...and when you don't and your wife, family and friends enable you-and some are as "knee deep" in dirt as you are...perhaps needing help themselves...this becomes pretty much of a "ain't gonna happen" situation.

Good Evening everybody

Bob Carper here...just copied an alarming message from otmichele (sp?) about Trump's inability to remain much longer in office no matter which way the impeachment progresses.  From this note, I gather that Trump is medically and psychologically unfit to hold office and must be done away with, either by impeachment, incarceration, or some other form of putting him away where he can no longer injure the rest of the USA.  It has gone too far, and when a team of medial specialists has come to the conclusion that Trump is totally unfit to remain in office, it is time to go.  Either the Supreme Court must act upon it or some other governing body must step into the act and get rid of him.  When HIS OWN FAMILY fails to understand that Trump is unfit to remain in  office, it has absolutely gone too far.  This folly must end and end soon, for the good of us all.  We cannot wait until Kim Jung Un decides to drop a thermonuclear device on top of us.  Enough is enough.

Yours in concerned awareness

Bob Carper

It's called the 25th Amendment. It allows the Vice President and a majority of the cabinet to remove the President if he becomes disabled and/or unfit to perform his duties.

Section IV reads:

"Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.".      Section IV goes on to say that if two-thirds of both houses of Congress don't vote to uphold the decision and keep the vice president in charge within 21 days, then the powers and duties automatically transfer back to the president. So if the president doesn't want to give up his office,  he doesn't have to if Congress agrees he shouldn't.

Yes...this is true and I agree...appreciate your posting this...but do you really think this GOP Congress would invoke the 25th Amendment? That would be my only concern. Even if the Dems take over the House and Senate...I've been reading that they are divided on impeachment...of course when Mueller presents his findings, could be different. I think unfortunately this POTUS would need to "lose it" so obviously like maybe starting a nuke war or WWIII that maybe then their heads would turn for a second...That all being said...you are part of the proactive and ongoing resistance as I am and others on and off this forum...Karma, droberts...one way or the other. Again, thanks for posting. You are more familiar with the laws than I am...I am trying to become more familiar and this helps. Others, your thoughts?

OK....is it me that needs to stand corrected? Joke? Probably as I have come to know you....but true, the word deranged describes Trump....as do the words delusional, completely mentally ill and unfit for office (and not recognizing his multiple mental illnesses...sorry not sorry..not diagnosing, just observing!), evil, narcissist, mean, heartless...I could go on..
